I'm thining of getting the Asus P5N-E SLI NF650i SLi 775 motherboard and adding 2 x XFX7300GT d-sub/dual link PCI-E (x16) cards I would like to make sure that I can run 4 monitors in non SLI mode without problems.

Non SLI mode would be the only way you could run 4 monitors, but yeah, should work just fine.
