Good question. First of all make sure you're running the IBM 8.083.1 drivers from Schneider Digital (the ones which enable the OpenGL configuration page to operate correctly).
Next, you may want to try the following, however note that these directions are designed for Windows XP. Windows 2000 does not support DualView, so I do not know which settings are required :
edit the registry changing DisableDualView in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\CurrentControlSet\Services\ati2mtag\Device0 to zero.
it may also be necessary to set DALRULE_NOCRTANDDFPONSAMECONTROLLER to 1, DALRULE_ONEDISPLAYBOOTDEFAULT to 0 and DisableLCD to 0, and there's a setting along the lines of 'Enumalldevices' which should be set to 1.
