Hello,
I have posted before about configuring my primary monitor to be on the right. I set up a display profile to set this up, and that part works nicely.
However, UltraMon's smart taskbar gets confused when the primary monitor is changed. Quite regularly, the taskbar ends up on the primary monitor and I have to delete the smart taskbar registry keys to reset (as recommended in the support document).
I have a laptop, and I wonder if UltraMon is getting confused by the hardware changes that happen when the laptop is undocked and redocked. It is those dockings and undockings that seem to be triggering the problem.
I would be willing to run a diagnostic version of UltraMon if that would help figure out this problem.

The problem is usually that changing the primary monitor on a laptop changes the monitor numbers, the primary is always #1.
This causes problems for UltraMon because the position of the taskbars is based on the monitor number.
There is no real fix for this at the moment, but UltraMon 3 will dynamically adjust the Smart Taskbar configuration based on the position of the Windows taskbar, which will fix this problem.
