Greetings.
My setup is a Shuttle Zen (ST62K) which has a built-in ATI 9100 graphics. The Zen has a single PCI slot.
I wanted to upgrade the system to a 3 monitor system, went ahead and purchased three SyncMaster 204B (beautiful image by the way). Purchased a Radeon-based VGA+DVI card. The system did not recognize the Radeon Primary (!). Get the code 10 error (cannot start). So I set the BIOS to start video from the PCI (as opposed to Onboard) and got both Radeon VGA and DVI to work (the onboard doesn't start at all).
Problem is the window repaint/update time has become noticeably slow. If I disable the seconday (through UltraMon) then the update time becomes normal again.
I though maybe its the performance of the Radeon. So I tried a GeForce 6200. Same exact situation.
Is this normal?
Thanks in advance!
David
