I have purchased UltraMon for all of our company laptops, but had a problem with 1 laptop. I have put a check in the "Preserve position of desktop icons" setting and everything worked great for the first few days, but then, after turning on the laptop, the far right column of icons moved as a column to the far left-side of the screen and shifted all the other icons 1 column over to the right. Is there any explanation/answer for this to happen? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Does the original position get restored when you select Desktop Icons > Restore Position from the UltraMon menu?

The restore function did not correct the problem. The user has reported that the icons have not moved out of position since that 1 time, so the problem may have fixed itself.
If this should happen again, is there anything that I should do to gather more info or change to fix the problem?
Thanks.

Disabling automatic saving of icon positions usually fixes this, to do this uncheck 'preserve position of desktop icons' under Options > General.
The problem is that UltraMon only keeps a single set of icon positions, and if you shut down the system with only a single monitor enabled, UltraMon then saves icon positions, which might not be desired.
Manually saving/restoring icon positions will still work fine.
