I'm basically trying to work out the best solution for a 4 monitor setup, given that my primary goal is to play flight simulators.
I currently have an X1950 pro with 2 monitors and am wondering if I need another card that is also good for 3D or can I get away with something else?
Can't quite work out if my current X1950 will do all the processing and so I just need a way of outputing, or if I'll need the same power for the other displays.

It'll be game dependent - you're really better off asking in a forum for that particular game, or specifying exactly what game it is. Some extra screens will be used in 3D acceleration mode, whilst others will not.
