Hi,

I am currently using a Asus A9550GE graphic card which has an analog and a DVI output, in which I can display on 2 monitor.

But how do I display a 3rd monitor?

I tried getting Y-cable splitter, but it only split the same display to two.

Please help, really need to learn.

Install a PCI video card for that third monitor.

Any PCI will do?

Would S-video work as a third monitor?

yuan, yes, any PCI card should work, although getting one with the manufacturer's GPU can simplify driver installation. For example, with an AGP nVidia card in my system, adding a PCI card with a nVidia GPU did not even require installing any additional driver; it used the same driver as the AGP card.

GK, I gather you're asking whether three monitors could be run off of a single card with DVI, VGA, and S-Video connectors. I believe the answer is no. He might be able to use different combinations of connnector types for two monitors but I do not believe a card with all three connector types will support 3 monitors.
