I am looking for something that allows the application positions to be stored in a profile, so that when I switch from a docked laptop with an extended desktop on a 2nd monitor to just my laptop, my windows go to preassigned positions. I like the Ultramon display profiles, but it seems I can only affect the position of an app when I first open it.
Does anyone know of a way to do this?

As far as I know ZMover can do this.

I checked out ZMover and I think I'll be able to get it to work. It doesn't have the idea of profiles, but I wrote a batch script to kill it, switch the .dat preferences file and then start it up again, and if I can then trigger that from UltraMon, I think I'm in business. Thanks for the pointer!
