Hello,
I am using Ultramon 3.0 Beta on a dual monitor setup running Windows Vista with one monitor DVI and the other VGA both on the same card. I develop applications using the Eclipse IDE with Java 1.5. However, when I move the Eclipse window back and forth across the monitors, the taskbar entry does not move. It stays in place on whatever monitor I started the application on.
Now, Eclipse runs as a javaw.exe instance rather than a typical application like Outlook that runs from Outlook.exe. I believe it has something to do with the hooks that you guys are using to determine if the window has moved to another monitor. Maybe Java doesn't support those calls? or Maybe eclipse doesn't implement something normally?
Love the program, would hate to see it not work for all those Eclipse and Rational developers out there.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look into this for the next release.
If I remember correctly Eclipse did work with earlier versions, so it might just be a new issue in 3.0.

Can I just add that version 2.7.1 and the newer 3.0.0 beta 1 of UltraMon interferes with the tree view component of Eclipse.
For some reason if you have UltraMon open and you open up Eclipse, select Fle > New > Project, the tree view that is meant to appear doesnt. This effect is also visible in other areas of the program.
The bug in Eclipse is mentioned here: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=142965
This happens for both 32bit and 64bit version of Java and Eclipse.
Please could you look into this.
Cheers, Tom

This happens if certain types of hooks are installed, currently there is no fix for this. See this thread for more information.
3.0 Beta 2 will handle hooking differently, if everything can be changed as planned this should fix the problem.
