Hi Again,
Everytime I start ultramon I received the following error:
Ultramon encountered a fatal error... Source File: .\DeskTaskBarManager.cpp Line 103 Return Value: 2147680336 Last Error: 80
The system tray icon remains active after I click Ok on the error, but the task bar for the second window fails to show up. Restarting ultramon/computer results in same error. It was working for about a week then all of a sudden this.

This seems to happen if a file used by the Smart Taskbar is corrupted.
To fix this, delete the TaskbarBandState file from the folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\3.0.0 if you are on Vista, C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\3.0.0 if you are on XP or 2000.

Brilliant! Thanks.
Just a note to say that in Vista, AppData is a hidden directory, so you need to turn on "Show hidden files and folders" in "Organize" -> "Folder and Search options" -> "View".
Or just type "C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData" into the address bar at the top.

I had the same problem after a power outage. Deleted the file, and now it works great.
THanks.

I'm getting the same error, however, deleting this file and even a reinstall doesn't help. I've even tried the release candidate.
