A patch has been released for VideoSaver which fixes the following issue on Windows Vista:
on the list of screen savers in Personalization > Screen Saver, VideoSaver is listed as 'Installation damaged...' instead of VideoSaver.
If you are using Windows Vista, download the patch here. This patch should not be installed on earlier versions of Windows.

Does this patch work for Windows 7 since win7 is so similar to Vista?

The patch works fine on Windows 7, VideoSaver also (haven't done much testing yet though).
