Hi
First off, thanks for making a Vista version, Vista is horrible without Ultramon.
However, as soon as I launch beta 1 I get the error above, with
Return value: 2147680336
Last error: 80
I have dual LCD monitors running on an Nvidia 6600GT card, Vista is Ultimate edition running with Aero. Not sure what other information you might like?

I've got the same issue.
i think its related to the smart toolbar, since ultramon is still running but i dont have the toolbar on the 2nd monitor

This seems to happen if a file used by the UltraMon taskbar is corrupted, see this thread for more information and the fix.
