I have just purchased a few licenses to install at work and run into a small problem.
On my machine (Win XP Pro & Excel 2000), when Excel is on the 2nd screen, when I right-click on the taskbar item the menu appears and disappears straight away. It does not occur with Excel on the primary monitor, and does not occur for other applications on the secondary monitor (have tried all other Office applications & various other packages).
I've observed that this problem occurs on my machine and one other (both Dell Latitude D810s), but does not occur on the Latitude D800s and D820s used by my colleagues. All run XP Pro & Office 2000 and are configured near-identically.
Any ideas?

To refine my query above - the problem only occurs when there is more than one Excel workbook open (in the same instance of Excel).

Unfortunately I don't know what might cause this, also haven't seen this myself with Excel 2007.
Let me know if you find out anything else, for example it only happens if another application is running as well.
