Hello,

Im running ultramon on a win xp sp2 machine, 2 monitors, with an 8800gts...

My energy saver settings were set to turn off the monitor after 20 mins of inactivity, after I installed ultramon the power saving features stopped working...

Is there anyway to fix it? im running latest nvidia drivers and al xp updates...

thanks

Please check if removing UltraMon's mirroring feature fixes the problem, maybe there's a compatibility issue with the driver used by the mirroring feature.

To do this, go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, select UltraMon from the list, click on Change, then deselect the mirroring feature on the Customize Installation screen. You'll need to reboot the system after making the change.

Just tried it, didnt work...

I really need this feature to work, I cant have 2 22inch monitors on all the time... If I cant get it to work im gonna have to uninstall ultramon, which I dont want to do cause its a really really good app...

any other tips will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Unfortunately I don't know what else might cause this, UltraMon shouldn't interfere with power settings.

My guess would be that this isn't related to UltraMon, if you updated the video card drivers as well I would recommend checking if the issue is related to the video card drivers.

I uninstalled ultramon, then reinstalled without the mirroring and display shortcuts options, then restarted and it looks like the power saving features are working again :)

looks like im keeping ultramon
