Hi, I've noticed a 'niggle' on my system since upgrading to Vista which seems to be UltraMon related. I noticed it with version 2.7.1, so have upgraded to the 3.0 Beta and the problem still exists.
When the system is unlocked (following a Ctrl + Alt + Delete >> Lock) or on returing from the screensaver the displays flicker and the sidebar vanishes and reappears for about 20 seconds. During this time the system is also unresponsive.
I've closed UltraMon and the problem does not appear. I've also tried disabling Aero, simplifying various display settings etc but cannot seem to get rid of the problem while UltraMon is running. Has anybody else seen this ?
Thanks, Trevor

I'm also seeing some screen redrawing when unlocking the system, for example around the Internet Explorer address bar, occurs several times with UltraMon running, and only once if UltraMon isn't running.
I'll look into this for the next release, but am not sure if there is a fix for this.

Hi Christian,
I'd agree with that. I thought stopping Ultramon completely resolved the issue, but it appears even without Ultramon running the issue exists to a lesser (although still annoying!)extent.

I've just done a clean install of Vista (as opposed to the previous upgrade from XP) and this issue has now disappeared.

Thanks for the update.
I'm also seeing this on a clean install of Vista 64-bit, maybe it's a display driver issue, I'm using two Nvidia Quadro FX 3500 cards with the 97.46 drivers.

I am also seeing the same problem. clean install of vista. Ultramon worked fine for about a month, then the flicker started.
Running a Radeon x1950 Pro.
As soon as I kill the Ultramon processes, the program goes away.
I have uninstalled v3 beta

I am also seeing something similar (Vista 64). After the screen saver has run, and the monitors go into power saving, waking them up causes the screens to flicker/blink wildly - resetting cursor position, black screen, then redrawing 3 to 6 times with a few seconds in between.
Using ATI HD4850 on a 24" and a 20" Dell TFT. At first I thought it was ATI's VPU-recover or something, but was unable to find any errors...
It's very annoying. My work machine, also Vista 64, but with NVIDIA is fine... Is this an ATI-issue?
