If you use a SoundBlaster Live card on Windows 2000/XP, have LiveWare installed and experience problems with UltraMon Beta 5, please try the following:
- check if devldr32.exe is running. To do this, start Task Manager and look for it on the Processes tab - if it is running, search for the file and rename it, for example to devldr32.old - reboot your system
This will prevent devldr32 from being started during system startup.
After rebooting, please test if you have the same problems with UltraMon Beta 5 as you had before.
For more on devldr32, see the UltraMon FAQ.

devldr32 is part of the default windows xp drivers for the Live now, has been for quite a while....no problems with ultramon here other than that smart taskbar issue with UT after the first update, which is pretty much totally resolved now with the 2nd update.

What problems do you have with UltraMon if devldr32 is running?

With ultramon and devld32 running, the tv tuner will fail to innitialize. I get an error saying the system failed to innitialize video check your drivers... I have the latest ati drivers for the all in wonder radeon, and directx 8a installed. Ati also requires the Video Capture Update for Direct X 8.0 to be installed which I have. Upon uninstalling ultramon, bingo the video works again. ...???
