I recently installed the v4 beta. I have some issues running UltraMon with dexpot, which perhaps are more dexpot issues that ultramon. However the Dexpot community for english language users is not very strong so I am posting here in case anyone has any feedback for me.
My principle issue is that the smartbar shows on my second monitor only for the first dexpot desktop, all subsequent desktops do not show the smartbar :-(
Similarly the wallpaper assigned in UltraMon is not visible in desktops 2, 3 & 4.

Does dexpot have an option to show a certain application on all desktops? If yes, enabling that for the Smart Taskbar (UltraMonTaskbar.exe) should fix the problem.
The wallpaper issue sounds like the virtual desktop manager is loading its own wallpaper when switching desktops, if there is an option to configure a specific wallpaper for each desktop you could then assign the UltraMon wallpaper to each desktop.

Sorry for the version typo, i meant of course v3. Great idea about the smart task bar. I added a rule in dexpot that if the executable is UltraMonTaskbar.exe then copy to all desktops, works great.
With the wallpaper I found a dexpot option, 'Apply manual changes to Dexpot configuration', checking this results in the wallpaper showing on all the desktops but not the custom colour background :-(
