This is really more in the realm of annoyance than problem, but I'm noticing that when I have my main taskbar on monitor 2 in Vista, the transparency makes it look like it's taken a slice out of the wp on monitor 1. To give a concrete example, I have it set up to display a mostly red wp on monitor 1, and a mostly yellow wp on monitor 2, but the taskbar is showing translucent red, not yellow.

I've seen that as well, seems to be a Vista issue.
Currently I'm not aware of a workaround/fix for this.

Just to mention that I noticed this issue too in Vista.
Except I'm using a single wallpaper that spans both monitors. The section from the other monitor shows through the taskbar.
Don't know if it's to do with the fact that my monitor 2 is on the left of monitor 1.

Nath, happens if you have a monitor to the left of the primary. There's no fix for this, but the issue has been fixed in Windows 7.
