Hey

I have a Semprom 2,4 ghz and a Geforce 2 mx200 as a primary video card (AGP), if i am not wrong it is 32mb. Via 8237 motherboard.

When I was searching to add a secong monitor i thought that any PCI video card would work, but i put one in the empty slot and the computer did not swichted on. I assume there was a kind of conflict.

Why did it happen and what PCI card then do I need to buy to be able to use 2 monitors? I don't need a card with great performance as I just need to use the second monitor to read graphics.

can u give me tips?

many thanks

Try a different PCI slot. Also, try setting PCI as primary in your BIOS.

I know that some motherboards function best with a PCI card in the top PCI slot.

What PCI card is it? What operating system are you using?
