Mornin all,
I'm currently looking at building a 13 screen system based on using 3 PCI Matrox G200 MMS Quad (unless someone has a better suggestion in terms of both price and capability) and a more powerful graphics card for games on the primary display.
My starter system will probably be based on my aging Athlon 2500 barton machine with an AGP Radeon 9700 card. However I could see myself upgrading to a PCIe capable system with a core2duo in it some time soon. Which will of course mean a new graphics card - pro
I'm just wondering if there are people out there who have any experience of using G200's as subsiduary displays with a higher powered card to handle games level graphics.
What sort of compatability probelems are there with Radeons, and would an Nvidia based card play well with the G200s?
I seem to remember having terrible problems with using a PCI ATI card with the Radeon - ended up using an Nvidia GF2 MMX dual with it the last time.
Anyway, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
