Hi, been working a bit on the gaming-side of the multimon-"scene". and I've come to bump on a thing. with software rendering every single game refuses to work with window wider than 2048 pixels... (one _can_ get Quake1 wider than that if turning on the "vid_stretch_by_2" option, but that's kinda unfair :)
anyone happen to know what the heck is this limit and if it can be overridden?
And if anyone's intrested, the games I've been playing with include: Quake1, Quake2, Unreal, Unreal Tournament, DeusEx, Half-Life (anyone know how to get this piece on a custom window?) and Hexen II.
