Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Wallpaper positioned incorrectly upon "locking"

Hi!

I'm using UltraMon Version 2.7.1.0 on WinXP SP 2.

My primary monitor has a resolution of 1024 x 768, and the secondary one 1440 x 900.

Now, I've got a problem with the wallpaper:

I set two different wallpapers for my two monitors. This works fine, as long as I'm "normally" logged on. However, when I lock the Computer (Windows + L, fast user switching turned off) the wallpaper on the left (primary) monitor ist moved down the screen for c. 100 px, so that I can see a white bar on the top of the screen. Moreover, on the right (secondary) monitor the wallpaper ist moved down for c. 100 px so that the lower 100 px are no longer at the bottom but at the top of the screen.

Is there any solution to that?

Thanks in advance

This would happen if you are using Active Desktop or IconX. Unfortunately there is no fix for this, you would need to disable Active Desktop/IconX.

The Active Desktop is enabled if desktop icons are hidden (right-click on desktop > Arrange Icons By > Show Desktop Icons unchecked), or if a desktop item has been added via Display Properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web.
