I have a Dell 24" Widescreen and now got a 19" flatpanel. I have both hooked up to extend the desktop. Is there a way I can get the resolution right for gaming? When I had it stretched on desktop it had a res of 2560x1024 and in the game that looks horrible. (Now both monitors are at their native resolutions, the 19 in is just exra dt space.

If you run the game in a window you can have it in a nice resolution, most games support starting parameters with which u can achieve a ultra wide resolution, without everything looked stretch. I would try first applying such a start parameter (for Battlefield series it would for example be +szx 2050 + szy 1050 (or ur values)). If that doesnt work start the game in a window and try finding a good resolution. you might as well check if the game has a way to support multiple screens, in that case you can run it perfectly fine.
