In the 3.0 beta with Vista Aero, if I try and set different wallpapers on each monitor, half of the main taskbar is not transparent. This seems to only occur when the secondary monitor is on the left of the primary monitor. Perhaps this is a leftover bug from previous releases where wallpapers did not display properly with secondary left of the primary monitor?

Seems to be a Vista issue, you would see the same problem when creating a tiled multi-monitor wallpaper manually.
I'll certainly look into this if I find out anything else.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why Vista would do such a stupid thing? Is it even possibly to make UltraMon fix it in the new version, or is this going to be up to Microsoft?

I am betting on the fact that it should be M$ - but whether it is fixed or not is a different story - as long as the developers there *know* about it there will be a chance that it is fixed - but if they haven't been made aware of the problem....
