I am running Vista Ultimate. I have about 60 different wallpaper sets which I switch among. Today, I noticed that when I went to change a wallpaper's setting, the entire area is greyed out, and "editing not allowed" is displayed. I can switch wallpapers, or add new ones, but I cannot delete or change existing ones.
I know I have changed these settings in the past under Vista, so what has caused this to change? I am the only user on this computer and I have administrative privileges.

Which version of UltraMon are you using?

I just turned User Account Control off, and now I can edit my wallpapers. This is strange, because I've had User Account Control "on" all the time I've been using Vista (6 mos.), and I know I've edited wallpapers during that time.

That's most likely an issue with file permissions, make sure your account has full access to the wallpaper folder used by UltraMon, usually My Documents\My Wallpapers.

Thank you. I agree, since changing user account control allowed editing, it is a Vista issue not an Ultramon issue.
