I want to maximize windows across both screens by default. the problem is: i´ve got two matrox pci cards in a win2k srv. Ultamon doesn´t work.
Windows should recognize both monitors as one single monitor because i need 2048x786.

there is no problem with a dualhead card.

any ideas?

I don't think you can set Windows to do this by default, but, UltraMon offers a reasonable solution. In Options, set a shortcut key/combo for Maximize Desktop. That key/combo will maximize across all displays. If you hit it again, it will restore the window.

the application has a fixed resolution, at startup it checks the maximum resolution and converts everything into this. ultramon isn´t able to maximize this app. perhaps there is a registry key to change this.

Tha Matrox Dual Head cards give you this option. You have to select it during install of the Matrox software.
