This is something so essential, there really should be working releases for all platforms by now. Maybe Christian should just offer UltraMon to M$ and retire? Could be a *sweet* deal.

No if Microsoft gets it hands on this it'll SUCK to no end.
Please do not sell to microsoft, i'll stop using it if that happens.

If Microsoft bought it, it would actually get updated! So yes, please sell it to them. It is falling so far behind it is worth less and less everyday.
I think Microsoft is actually making their own powertoy for this functionality finally.

I don't know about "selling" this to Microsoft. Microsoft is a big company with many many devs, they could easily make something that does this and have it built into the Windows GUI.
I for one always thought this should have been built into Windows.

I have also heard that MS is developing software that does the same thing as UltraMon. I think that UltraMon has many more hours of development behind it so I can't say how good it would be.
However, like others, I would absolutely try it because it is likely to work (at least as well as UltraMon does in its beta stage) and actually get updated.
