Hi,
for some days my monitors numbers are switched. My 23" TFT used to be #1 and my 19" TFT #2, now it's the other way around. This causes some problems when disabling the second monitor and with software relying on monitor numbers (i've got an app showing OSD on a monitor the user can select. To show it on my main monitor i have to set it to #2, but when i disable my second monitor there's only 1 left).
Anyone got an idea how to change the monitor numbers again?

You could connect each monitor to the other port of the video card, this will switch the monitor numbers.

That won't work as one monitor is connected via DVI and the other one via VGA.
My main monitor always used to be #1 until some days ago when it suddenly became #2.
Any idea what could have caused this?

no idea why it became that way but you should be able to go into the video card advanced settingas and set primary display

Primary display doesn't change the diplay number though :(
