For some reason when my PC boots up it places the smartbar too high on the second monitor. Roughly about one taskbar's height from the base of the desktop.
If I disable, and then re-enable, then it positions it fine.
It's only started happening just recently and I've been using UltraMon for fairly long time without any probs - an excellent bit of software!

Maybe it's just a timing issue, please try if delaying UltraMon startup fixes the problem.
To do this, run regedit.exe, go to the key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon', double-click on the AutoStartDelay value, select Decimal, then enter the number of seconds by which automatic startup should be delayed. I would try a value of 10-20 seconds.

I had the same problem on my setup. It only started happening recently. I'm wondering if a recent windows update caused this for some reason?
For those out there interested - 10seconds was enough to stop it happening on my machine.

This happens to me as well, however when I disable and then re-enabling does not fix it. Its constantly about 1 taskbar too high. Any other ideas?

Please post the system information from UltraMon's About dialog. To access the dialog, right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray and select About from the menu.

Setting the auto-start delay worked for me as well.

Can you please provide more details about the REgEdit solution? This started happening recently and when I follow the steps indicated here I can't find where to change the delay values. Thank you.

Which version of UltraMon and Windows are you using?
