Ok first I run two shops in the N. central part of PA. And an ISP. I am about to ad another 6 monitors to my setup I have 6 Smasung 19" 940bx's running of 3 x1300 PCIe video cards in an ASUS p5n32-premium. This aswell as my previous sysetm runs great on XP as a matter of fact I had three diferant video cards with three diferent chipsets on my last setup that ran on 1 PCIe 1 AGP Pro and 1 PCI. XP realy was a sinch. OK now the first thing I did with the new board is get three Identicle cards. This should be great for the new WDDM stuff. BUT!!!! I got a separate drive and installed Ultimate on it AND? Yes I got all 6 monitors running . Ok thats not true they all start up but I cant do anything. I would like to know of the cards being used by anyone that is running 6-12 monitors with Vista.(running AERO) Just need to know the cheapest way to get these monitors up and still pay the rent OH and get the other 6 monitors and stand. Thanks All

I run 6 monitors under windows vista 64 ultimate with no problems. I have 3 Geforce 8800 cards, a GTX and 2 GTS 640M. I have had problems with certain drivers in vista in the past. You should try different drivers it may work.

Andy - what motherboard do you use for your 6 monitors? and what resolution do you run the monitors at?

I'm running Aero Glass on six, just fine - Though ATI had to write a new driver revision to make it work. That's why we submit good bugs :)

I run an EVGA 680i mobo and three ATI Radeon x1650 Pro cards.

David,
To answer your question is I use ASUS P5W64 WS Professional motherboard which has 4 PCIe x16 slots. I also have the ASUS Striker Extreme motherboard which I tried but could not live with the lower RAID 0 throughput compared to the P5W64 WS Pro. The Striker Extreme uses the NVidia 680i chipset and has 3 PCIe x16 slots and the P5W64 WS Pro has the Intel i975X chipset which is a bit dated.
