I would like to know if it is possible for me to connect 2 monitors on two separate cards.if its possible,how do i do it.i got a onboard 32mb S3 and a Radeon 128mb.

Two video cards is no problem in general, but there can be compatibility issues, and your onboard card may get disabled if you install a video card.
You don't need to do anything special, after installing the card you can enable the additional monitor in Display Properties > Settings.
