I'm running my laptop at 1024x768 and an external 19" @ 1280X1024 (their native resolutions). Ultamon works fine, the only thing is I'd like the two monitors to line up across the bottom and not the top which seems to be the default. I can obviously change it once I've booted up, but I'd like this as the default setting. It's fairly annoying...
Any thoughts?

I'm not sure why the alignment wouldn't stick, but as a workaround you could create an UltraMon display profile which gets applied at system startup.
To do this, right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray and select Display Profiles > New Display Profile from the menu.
