i have changed a setting somewhere and i dont remember where
when i have 3 windows open that i want to view simultaneously the focus shifts to wherever the mouse is hovering
i DONT want this as windows that overlap cut each other out
please advise how to to turn off this auto focus thang

TweakUI can do this, look for the X-Mouse setting.
UltraMon doesn't have this feature.

i solved it
turns out it wasnt ultramon at all ,
it was another program i use thats called reflection x
so thanx for all your help guys, you narrowed it down and i noticed when i forst logged on and had no programs running it didnt steal focus from normal xp windows yay !
