I'm using Vista Ultimate 32-bit and I have my taskbar at the left side of my right monitor. When using 2 different wallpapers (an ultramon option) the wallpaper from the left monitor extends under the (half transparent) taskbar of my right monitor. Can this be fixed? It looks crappy, also because the backgrounds don't align anymore because of this.
I can give you a screenshot if necessary, but I think it can be easily reproduced.

Seems to be a Vista issue, so far I haven't found a fix for this.

I haven't found out anything new regarding this issue, it's also still the same problem with service pack 1.

I'm on Vista 64-bit Ultimate, Ultramon 3.0.7 beta, and I have the same issue.
I'm not sure if the other user posted this, but it is only a problem when the secondary monitor is to the left of the primary.
Additionally, it is flip-flopping the background under the taskbar. So under my primary monitor's taskbar is the background for the secondary monitor, and the background for the secondary's taskbar is the background for the primary monitor.
If I have a program maximized on either monitor, the background behind both taskbars goes away.
Again, this seems to be a problem only if you have a monitor left of the primary. If I set the secondary position to the right of the primary, the back ground behind each taskbar is the correct background.

This issue has been fixed in Windows 7, I'm not aware of a fix for this for Vista.
