OK. here is the situation. I have a latop and unfortunately have a dimmed LCD screen (fl interface is messed). So in order to see what is on my Screen I have to connect an external Monitor to the VGA port.
Now my question is it possible to also run my s video in this set up. I tried it out but I had to keep unplugging my svideo cord and restart my laptop to get my VGA (external monitor) to work. Is it possible to have both the VGA and Svideo working at the same time. I also shoudl mention since my laptop screen is burnt out I do not require it, is there a way to basically have my analog (VGA out) + TV out (S video) runninbg at the same time w/o the main lapt op screen?
Any help would be appreciated.

It's kind of hard for anyone to answer when you don't specify which laptop you have.

i'm using a t1 express dual laptop from LG...with an intel 945gm chipset...it's possible...i have my laptop monitor turned off....using my external lcd monitor as primary and tv as an extended desktop for movies
