I'm planning a 3 monitor setup and would like opinions on how this would work. No gaming, each monitor will display different programs.
Primary 24" monitor, flanked by two 20" monitors.
ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel MB
2 of the following video cards, 1 for Primary, 1 for the other 2 --ASUS EN8600GTS/HTDP/256M GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
Vista Business 32
Also, is it correct that SLI is not an issue for me in this scenario?
Any thoughts will be appreciated.

That should work fine, you would need to have SLI disabled to extend the desktop across the 3 monitors.
