Right now, I'm running a dual monitor system using a GeForce2MX as my primary and a Matrox as a secondary. Works fine except I don't have HW accel. on the 2nd monitor.
If I use my GeForce2 for both monitors (that would mean converting the S-video out to a VGA connector), would I then get HW openGL support on both monitors (using latest drivers) and free up a PCI slot (since I can take out my Matrox) ?
And if so - why am I not doing that? :-)
TIA,
- Soren

Detonator 12.41 and above support dual hw OpenGL. But you should better go with a real TwinView card with two VGA and/or DVI outs. Every MX card is technically TwinView capable, but VideoOut has PAL resolution (720x576), probalbly not what you want. At last a hint, dual monitor support requires (very) high monitor resolutions (i.e. 2560x1024) - the higher the resolution the worser the gfx performance.
