Hi.
I'm running Vista Enterprise x64 and UltraMon 3.0 beta 1.
I've got 1 ATI Radeon x1950 PCIe 16x card and a seond x1300 PCIe 1x card. I'm using 4 monitors in a 2x2 square. Monitors are numbered and stacked as follows:
4 3 1 2
I've set the hotkey CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-Right Arrow to move the active window to the next monitor (And left arrow to move to previous monitor).
The hotkey does work and the window moves, but not to the monitor that I want.
If a window starts on monitor 1 for example, the next move will be to monitor 3, then 2, then 4.
Seems to me that UltraMon internally orders monitors from Top to Bottom, Left to Right. What I'd like is to be able to have windows go around the circle, counterclockwise.
Is there any way with ultramon to tell it to either order the monitors according to the way that windows numbers them or to manually assign an order?
Other than occasional taskbar crashes, very infrequent, no more frequent than when I was running 2.7 on XP Pro (32 bit), 3.0 beta 1 has been great.
Thanks Ken

Please post the system information from the About dialog (UltraMon menu > About), windows should get moved from left to right, top to bottom.

Again, these are set 2x2, like this
4 3 1 2
If it goes left to right, then top to bottom, a window that starts on mon 1 and goes to the next monitor should goto Mon2, but in actuality on my system it's going to monitor 3.
Only thing that might be quirky is all monitors run at 1280x1024 except for mon 3, which is 1440x900 (widescreen). I've got mon 3's bottom edge aligned with monitor 4's bottom edge, and flush with the tops of monitors 1 and 2. So technically the top most is 4, followed by 3, and then 1 & 2 (on same height).
Here's the system info:

I was thinking about this some more...
What about putting something in options where monitors are displayed in listbox and let the user order the monitors?

Thanks for the information. This is an issue with 3.0 Beta 1 and earlier versions, has been fixed for 3.0 Beta 2.
