Thx Christian for your reply, iam running a dell xps 710 It came with two nvidia 7900 pci express cards that support 4 monitors total. I needed to upgrade to 8 monitors so i removed the 7900's and there divers. Then i replaced them with 2 ati 2400 mv pci cards. I am able to get the cards and the drivers installed. I see all 8 monitors in an extended desktop, But when i reboot the computer it locks up in the boot and freezes, forcing me to turn the machine off by button. Any help would be very much apreciated.

I've had a similar issue with the FireMV 2400 as well, seems to be related to the Dell BIOS. I would recommend installing the latest version of the BIOS.
