Hello
I would like some advice on the hardware suggested to output to 8 monitors from 1 computer.
I would like to go for 2 x PCI Express graphic cards with quad output.
Has anyone done this before,
Any advice would be good
Cheers Matt

If performance isn't a major issue, you could get two Matrox Quattros or some other quad card. Otherwise, look for a mobo that supports four PCI Express slots. A PCI-Express x1 slot doesn't have a whole lot of bandwidth, but it's designed specifically for video cards.

i have a 8 monitor system that you can see at www.computersolutionswv.com. but here are some downfalls i have ran into
slowdown on performance with startup and shutdown on the system, monitors when coming up are constantly having to be reconfigured.
i am using 2 colorgraphic 4 port pci cards
good luck with this, although there are some issues and you will never run 3d games or applications on a system like this, it is fun to have.
