Hi
In ultramon, via the sdk and windows display properties my monitors are named "Generic pnp Monitor" where as in my nvidia control panel it reports them as "Samsung" and "Sanyo Z4" is there any way to access the more descriptive names that the Nvidia control panel uses ?

Unfortunately no, UltraMon uses the same names as Windows.
