Hi there,
I just try to setup a 12 monitor setup, 16 would be the final target. I'm waiting for the last card to be deliverd.
I'm using 3x Matrox QUID Pro cards, all cards and all 12 monitors are recognized on the devicemanager. Now if I setup the screens with the Matrox Powerdesk, I need to combine at least 2 monitrs to one large monitor. So I'll loose many fancy features of UltraMon.
Than I decided to remove the PowerDesk and configure all monitors with UltraMon, so I really was surprised, that UltraMon can only see 10 Monitors like original monitor manager of Windows.
Does anybody have an idea why this happens?
Is there any REG key I can hack to show all monitors to UltraMon or what ever. I'd be happy about any hint.

Might be a driver limitation/issue, UltraMon will show all monitors recognized by the operating system. Display Properties only shows the first 10 monitors, even if the operating system recognizes more than 10.
You could run EnumDisp for further troubleshooting, but most likely it will see the same 10 monitors.

I guess I need some time to understand, I'll have a new try tomrrow, need to test a new Matrox card first. One of the expnsive DisplayWall series. It defenetly can not work with Ultramon, because it uses scretched mode for almos all displays.

It's like I thought, the Matrox driver only exposes 10 displays. Unfortunately there's nothing UltraMon can do about this.
