Hi all,
I currently run Windows 2000 Professional with a Geforce 2 MX (AGP) card. I'm going to be upgrading/buying monitors and will be wanting to run a multi-monitor setup. I have a few questions regarding my plan that I need to clear up before I go ahead and purchase:
1) The extra video card I want to get is a Geforce 2 MX TwinView PCI. Would this be fine? I know the *AGP* TwinView cards work fine, but would it all be compitable and useable with the AGP card I already have?
2) I have 1 monitor that can only run at 800x600, and the other 2 (or plan to get) I'll run at 1280x960. What would be the best way to utilise the smaller monitor? Can it still be used as part of a 'virtual desktop' (a desktop spanning multiple screens)? Advice/Comments would be appricated about this.
3) Whats the score with games and mutli-monitor setups?
I really do want a multi-head setup as I've seen setups elsewhere and they're superb. So any information/advice/comments about such a setup would be appricated.
Thanks very much in advance.
