Hi,
I'm using the latest beta with windows vista ultimate, and have the smart taskbar enabled using a two monitor set-up. However the smarttaskbar doesn't seem to place new windows in the taskbar on either monitor.
Any help would be appreciated.

Does this happen immediately after you start your system and open the first application?

No, the msn messenger (loads on start-up) and welcome center screen show up on the primary monitors taskbar but this is before I see the ultramon icon in the notification area by the clock in the bottom right. Any future windows I try to open don't show up in either taskbar. I can move the msn messenger window between the taskbar on either screen.

The items reappear on the windows taskbar after you close it, once you restart new window don't appear in the taskbar as before.

I'm not sure what would cause this, are you using any security software which might prevent UltraMon from interacting with the taskbar/shell (explorer.exe)?
