Hi,

I am using Vista SP1 Home Premium + UltraMon 3.0 B2.1. My offlboard widescreen runs at a slightly smaller resolution than my Thinkpad widescreen. I get everything working find when I am docked.

I undock and the laptop screen works fine.

I re-dock and I get the following problems:
1) external montior has moved virtually to the other side. I need to bring up display properties and moving it back manually.
2) screen resolution of my laptop screen has been lowered to match the external monitor.

What can I do to prevent this recofiguration every time I redock? I have suspended and even hibernated between dock and undock with no difference in behavour.

thanks,
Drew

This is handled by the operating system, as a workaround you could set up multiple display profiles via UltraMon to quickly restore the desired settings.

To do this, right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray and select Display Profiles > New Display Profile from the menu.
