Setup :-
Trialing multi-monitor - Ver 1.0
Monitor 1 HP17" running off Voodoo 5 PCI
Monitor 2 HP15" running off Matrox G400TV AGP
I can't get the Matrox DVD player to launch on monitor 2 - Any ideas ?

Most DVD players don't work on secondary monitors, this is actually a limitation of the player, not the video card/driver. I'm not aware of any commercial DVD players that work on secondary monitors.

If you've got an overlay card (Creative Dxr3/Hollywood+ etc) you can use run your secondary card&monitor through that. They're fairly cheap at the moment but will wake up an extra PCI slot.

Thanks for the quick response. I've got a creative DXR3 card in another box - but I thought that the Maxtrox card would be able to handle this. Does this mean the extra facilities on the Matrox card are redundant ?
