I started a new job here today and they set me up with two connected monitors. The problem I have is this. Everything that comes up by default in the center of the screen space (such as windows messages) appears split between the two monitors because that's where the center of the two monitors is.
I have UltraMon installed at home and I tried it here, but I cannot get it to work.

You have the video card in span mode. Switch it to regular Windows Extended Desktop mode.
