I have to correct this problem it looks very amateur in certain situations. I have a multi display setup running vista, the problem is that whenever i switch the primary screen to a certain display it will drag my task bar and gadgets with it. It looks really lame. I remember how well it went with xp, no one 'knew' what was the primary screen, it just 'was'.

You can always just unlock the taskbar and drag it to any screen. The Sidebar will display on monitor display number assigned in its properties. Look at display settings note number of displays.
