Hi,
I have a PCI-E Nvidia 7600GS and a PCI Elsa Synergy 2 card in my system. I'm running Ubuntu 8.04. I have all three monitors up and running but I only have 3D on the 2 connected to the 7600. These are using the nvidia driver in xorg.conf. I can only get the Elsa to work if I use the nv drivers but then get no 3D. If I change the driver to nvidia it fails to start the third screen. I'd like to have 3D on all three and I'm sure this should be possible?
I get this message in the logs: (WW) NVIDIA(0): The NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 Pro GPU installed in this system is (WW) NVIDIA(0): supported through the NVIDIA 71.86.xx Legacy drivers. (WW) NVIDIA(0): Please visit http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html for (WW) NVIDIA(0): more information. The 169.12 NVIDIA driver will ignore (WW) NVIDIA(0): this GPU. Continuing probe... (WW) NVIDIA: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:0:10:0) found
Can anyone give me some pointers on how to get this lot working please?
Cheers
Andy

I've been looking around a little at this and it may be that each card needs a different version of the driver?
Is this possible?

It seems that trying to get sperate driver versions may not be straightforward.
Would I be better dropping the ELSA Synergy (TNT2) and putting a cheap Nnidia PCI (FX5200?) that is supported by the same drivers as my 7600GS?
