I've always loved the software, thanks for the work. I'm a professional developer as well, so I understand how much time and effort this takes.
I have a few issues with the beta on V64:
1) frequently the UltraMon icon in the tray area is not there. There seems to be no way to get into configure anything without killing it from the task manager and starting it again.
2) from time to time, the secondary task bar will crash. AGain, nothing to do but start over.
3) When windows are first rendered, the extra buttons next to max/min are not visible. Move the window or click in the title bar and they appear.
Thanks and looking forward to an update,
Kevin

1) Did you notice what causes this? I haven't seen this myself so far (also on 64-bit Vista).
2) What's the error message you get?
3) Seems to be some sort of timing issue, I'm going to look into this for the next release.

I have to second the disappearing act for the icon in the tray under x64 vista. It does not seem to happen with any regularity that I can track down.

I too have UltraMon try icon disappear on Vista x64 with SP1 installed.
Every time system come out of hibernation or sleep, ultramon disappears in the systry.
Also after resume from sleep or hibernation, any application will maximaize to the underneath of smart taskbar.

Is UltraMon.exe still running when this happens?
To see all running processes, open Task Manager and select the Processes tab.

I honestly haven't seen UM not work anymore from a standpoint of it totally dying, but I have seen the taskbar go goofy (not the same as the old cpp errors, but just simply stop working / disappear - however, I enabled the context menu item for ht task bar, and I can usually just re-enable it and go from there....

The UM beta regularly crashes on my Vista x64.. to the point that I no longer use it.
